@carolesmith98 i agree. and furthermore, if you take "sex on fire" for what it is: an excellent song musically with cheesy song lyrics tacked on afterward that the radio happened to eat up, i find myself okay with liking the song, though there are MUCH better ones!
I guess it is quite solid musically, I just associate it with lots of people jumping on the KOL bandwagon. I certainly had a very different experience seeing them live after this was released. Still love them :)
