D'awww. The Beach Boys were my first favorite band as a child - played my mom's 'Endless Summer' vinyl to death at about five years old - and this is a favorite of mine too. Only song I can think of that's made me cry is Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers, which made me think of the pet that died while it was playing years ago.
I was young when it happened and it ruined the song for me for years. I loved the song up until that point and it surprised me because I did not expect the death of a kitten we'd only had for a few weeks to have that kind of effect.
