





MagicAlexDJS’s 2015 started strong with “Little Fang” by Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks, and the jams kept coming; 5 in total. “Tropic of Cancer” by Panda Bear got a lot of love. And it all came to an end with MagicAlexDJS’s final jam: “Mammagamma” by The Alan Parsons Project.

The year got going with “Fantastic man” by William Onyeabor, and the jams kept coming; 53 in total. Plenty of electronic, post-punk, and new wave. They were the first, and only, to post “Ain't That Peculiar” by Japan. “Lowdown” by Wire got a lot of love. In April, MagicAlexDJS introduced This Is My Jam to “Let Her Go” by Mac DeMarco. In May, MagicAlexDJS posted their 300th jam. “Days” by Television closed out the year.

MagicAlexDJS’s 2013 started strong with “Hero” by Neu!, and there was more to come; 65 jams in all. Plenty of classic rock, indie rock, and pop. MagicAlexDJS did some crate-digging too, and found “Everbody's Got Something To Hide (Except For Me & My Monkey)” by The Beatles. “Rock & Roll (Full Length Version)” by The Velvet Underground got a lot of love. MagicAlexDJS was first to pick “oh yeah” by Foxygen, in January — 17 others followed suit! MagicAlexDJS crossed 250 jams in May! MagicAlexDJS’s 2013 came to a close with “Birth In Reverse” by St Vincent.

In January, MagicAlexDJS joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “New West Coast: ...” by SFV Acid. Nice. In May, MagicAlexDJS found it, their eternal jam: “Hammond Song” by The Roches. The year’s recurring themes? Wire, post-punk, and 60s. MagicAlexDJS did some crate-digging too, and found “Look Right” by Salako. “Number 1 Song in Heaven” by Sparks got a lot of love. MagicAlexDJS was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Moonlight Feels Right” by Starbuck — before 16 others! MagicAlexDJS passed 200 jams in December. MagicAlexDJS’s 2012 came to a close with “In The Year 2525 (Exordium & Terminus)” by Zager & Evans.
