Tho, you should still hear the real piece, if you haven't yet. @lynn200 Yeah, one of my bass player friends introduced me to mahler, and i was just amazed by the scope of his work & how all-encompassing it is. The 9th is a favorite for me too. Also wish that i could jam the 4th kindertodenlieder by janet baker.
@thisismymistake i just meant that this piece connects 3 things that i love. (the isabelle part being that it was featured in the closing scene of her movie "Private Property")
