2015

The year got going with “Walk Me to the Bridge” by Manic Street Preachers, and there was more to come; 11 jams in all. Plenty of british, indie rock, and singer-songwriters. People really liked “A New Career in a New Town” by David Bowie. Maticubu was first to pick “Small Poppies” by Courtney Barnett, in March — 10 others followed suit! Maticubu marked the end with “Blown Away” by Pixies.

“Pushin' Against a Stone” by Valerie June kicked off Maticubu’s 2014, and there was more to come; 80 jams in all. Plenty of Beck, folk, and britpop. They were the first, and only, to post “Schmoozer” by Beck. “Prove It” by Television got a lot of love. Maticubu reached 100 jams in June. “Don’t Wanna Lose” by Ex Hex closed out the year.

2013

In April, Maticubu joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “D.J.” by David Bowie. Nice. In October, Maticubu found it, their eternal jam: “Yes” by Manic Street Preachers. Lots of Wilco, classic rock, and alt rock. “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes got a lot of love. In November, Maticubu posted their 50th jam. Maticubu’s 2013 came to a close with “Little Drummer Boy” by Bing Crosby & David Bowie.
