Merstzik’s first jam of 2014 was “Carmensita” by Devendra Banhart. 22 more jams followed it! There was a lot of electronic, freak-folk, and singer-songwriters. “Paint It Black” by The Rolling Stones got a lot of love. Merstzik passed 20 jams in April. 2014 drew to a close with “Through The Roof 'n' Underground” by Gogol Bordello.

In April, Merstzik joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Cardboard Castles” by Watsky. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? Watsky, singer-songwriters, and rap. “Harmony Korine HD” by Steven Wilson closed out the year.
