MikeMcQuillian’s first jam of 2013 was “Gimme Shelter” by Merry Clayton, and the jams kept coming; 38 in total. Plenty of indie pop, rap, and lo-fi. “Hot Knife” by Fiona Apple got a lot of love. MikeMcQuillian posted their 50th jam in August! MikeMcQuillian’s 2013 came to a close with “Minnie the Moocher” by Cab Calloway.

In April, MikeMcQuillian joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Blue Magic (feat. Das Racist)” by Big Baby Gandhi. Nice. Lots of rap, electronic, and hip hop. In August, MikeMcQuillian introduced This Is My Jam to “Moonjock” by Animal Collective. MikeMcQuillian passed 20 jams in October. 2012 drew to a close with “Numb” by Andy Stott.
