2015

The year got going with “Fading Memories” by Find Hope In Darkness, and the jams kept coming; 9 in total. There was a lot of post-rock, drone, and ambient. MovingFurniture posted a rare gem: “Water Ordeal” by Haarvöl. MovingFurniture’s final jam was none other than “Mon Lion” by Fursaxa.

2013

MovingFurniture’s first jam of 2013 was “2013-02-25” by Orphax, and there was more to come; 17 jams in all. There was a lot of Orphax, dark ambient, and avant garde. MovingFurniture did some crate-digging too, and found “Monsters / Depths [Full Single]” by Natural Snow Buildings. People really liked “Hosianna Mantra” by Popol Vuh. In August, MovingFurniture posted their 50th jam.

2012

MovingFurniture’s first jam of 2012 was “Excerpt from Trilogie de la Mort - Part1: Kyema” by Eliane Radigue. MovingFurniture found their eternal jam in January — “Samen aan het water” by Orphax. Lots of Orphax, psychedelic, and dark ambient. MovingFurniture did some crate-digging too, and found “I Hate the Blues” by Dead Moon. People really liked “Ganges” by Bardo Pond. MovingFurniture reached 20 jams in February. 2012 drew to a close with “12-11-2012” by Orphax.

2011

In November, MovingFurniture joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Throat singing try-out” by Orphax. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? drone, ambient, and folk. MovingFurniture posted a rare gem: “The Electric Harpsichord (excerpt)” by Catherine Christer Hennix . 2011 drew to a close with “Danaya (à Sidi Konaté Pour Toujours)” by Nâ Hawa Doumbia.
