@MsSue_ Teehee...gator's have gotta eat something.....as one gator finishes his meal, turns to the other and says:.'How was your meal?' the other says: 'Not bad, a bit stringy and just too many plastic lumps in mine...';)

MsSue

@philipnareike Reminds me of one of my favourite Far Side cartoons - the two gators having eaten a couple of people, are lying on the riverbank saying "I could sure go for some cheesecake."

the funkier it gets the more spontaneous the vocalizations are... I think that was my favorite bit. :-)

curtywyshart

@MsSue_ I ate gator once - tastes like chicken.

8 years, 3 months ago

MsSue

@MarcelVonpure :) @clickysounds There's something in here that reminds me of The Chambers Brothers, but funkier. @abigail.deeks @KParkBro @glimmer9 @teen Glad you're totally funked out. @curtywyshart I've had fried alligator tails. It does sort of taste like chicken, but not in a huge hurry to go back for more.

@MsSue_: It took me solid 2 hours to get your phone joke. I totally forgot about my avatar, lol. I was having an imaginary conversation, I suppose, with someone from beyond the Iron Curtain; given hyperinflation in these times it could have cost my family millions upon millions of zlotys!

MsSue

@lynn200 Yep - gaters. Snappy suckers. @hannacelina It looks like it was taken just last week :)

dutchzaphod

@clickysounds @KParkBro @moondog @jnsvalente @BrownusPantius @layla @mloup @philipnareike and all you other funk lovin' cool cats. Doesn't the bass line remind you of Memphis Soul Stew by King Curtisssss (1965 :) Whilst, I believe, Gator Bait was released in 1970. Does anybody have the definitive answer?

8 years, 3 months ago

MsSue

@dutchzaphod Confession. It came to my mind when @BertrandRustles jammed Mempis Soul Stew the other day. MSS was 1967 Gator Bait was 1970. Definitely inspired by, I would say; maybe more than that.
