2015

MylesC’s first jam of 2015 was “Love Is a Stranger” by Eurythmics. MylesC found their eternal jam in August — “Aikea-Guinea” by Cocteau Twins. Lots of Christine and the Queens, singer-songwriters, and ambient. They were the first, and only, to post “artsick” by tricot. People really liked “Atomic” by Blondie. In July, MylesC posted their 300th jam. MylesC’s final jam was none other than “Heartbeats (The Knife cover)” by Jhameel.

2012

In February, MylesC joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “1959” by The Sisters of Mercy. Nice. It was a year of new wave, pop, and 80s. They were the first, and only, to post “Jetta's Palace” by The Jimmy Cake. “Peaches en Regalia” by Frank Zappa got a lot of love. MylesC was first to pick “Summertime” by The Sundays, in February — 33 others followed suit! MylesC passed 75 jams in December. 2012 drew to a close with “Tenderness” by General Public.
