I have vivid (but evidently false) recollections of the track being played at 6th form discos with all the boys in shiny trousers and all the girls in shoulder pads, when in fact I was in the 2nd year of my degree and my polka dot ra-ra skirt had long been consigned to the back of the wardrobe...
@AlicejustMay, quite a mental image! In 1987, I think I was sporting "shit catcher" baggy jeans, fluorescent socks and Oxford shoes with bright red trim. And they say it was the decade that taste forgot!
