2015

Pencilsqueezer’s 2015 started strong with “Done” by Frazey Ford, and 39 more jams followed. There was a lot of singer-songwriters, folk, and swing. They were the first, and only, to post “Siren” by Joan Shelley. People really liked “All Or Nothing” by The Small Faces. Pencilsqueezer posted their 250th jam in September! Pencilsqueezer’s final jam was “edith and the kingpin live at Red Rocks 1983” by Joni Mitchell.

2014

Pencilsqueezer’s first jam of 2014 was “Unchain My Heart” by Ray Charles. 56 more jams followed it! Lots of jazz, soul, and folk. They were the first, and only, to post “She Belongs To Me (Bob Dylan Cover)” by Ane Brun. “Let's Go Get Stoned” by Ray Charles got a lot of love. In October, Pencilsqueezer posted their 200th jam. 2014 drew to a close with “Woodstock” by Tierney Sutton.

2013

Pencilsqueezer’s 2013 started strong with “Fake Empire” by The National. 58 more jams followed it! There was a lot of jazz, folk, and blues. They were the first, and only, to post “Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart” by Terry Reid. Pencilsqueezer reached 100 jams in January. “Shadow On The Sun” by Audioslave closed out the year.

2012

In February, Pencilsqueezer joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Boogie Woogie Country Girl” by Joe Turner. Nice. Pencilsqueezer found their eternal jam in December — “River Deep – Mountain High” by Ike & Tina Turner. The year’s recurring themes? jazz, blues, and rhythm and blues. They were the first, and only, to post “Main Title/Anatomy of a Murder” by Duke Ellington. “I Put a Spell on You” by Screamin' Jay Hawkins got a lot of love. Pencilsqueezer was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Rocky Mountain Way” by Joe Walsh — before 42 others! In September, Pencilsqueezer posted their 75th jam. “Buona Sera” by Louis Prima closed out the year.
