My condolences for Mrs.B's loss of her mum....
She says: "I recorded this exactly a week to the hour of my mom's death. This was her favorite song, a 1930's ballad that Mamma Cass covered in the '70s. RIP Mamma."
My aunts liked it too. Sang it often. Mrs.B does ALMOST as well as Mamma Cass. HELLA! Just as good but different. In my humble opinion.
I myself am still dark, but am getting better. Jammers, take care!
Love this song!
It's so sad Mrs. B's mom never got to hear her daughter sing her favorite song!
(But if there is a heaven, she might be allowed to eavesdrop...)
@Engztrom Well, if it was Her Mum's favourite song, I am sure that She heard it many times from Her Mum. It is equally probable then, that this song was learned at Mum's knee. So She probably sang it to Her Mum. And thus, I think they heard each other.... and may have even sung a duet!
Mr Engstrom has just jammed one of my favourites.
It is a bit Gruesome, all about Egyptian Mummies, but I love the "Good Riddance" Green Day tune:

So, if you are curious, go take a peek and a listen!
@Phyl You are most welcome! I find her voice Awesome, and am trying to make her better known. Join her F/book and Youtube pages, (She also tweets & Tumblrs!) and leave a comment or 2 that Pete & Mikael sent you! Thanks.
@ian38018 Glad you liked it. Go check out her other stuff. And you are right: Beating Mamma Cass.... Nope. Matching Mamma Cass.... Tough. But, you are right, Mrs.B comes DARNED close to the original. (Which I should Jam some day. Send me a link. I keep a link file of stuff I might jam, and then, use them. BETTER YET: Please Jam Yourself!) Take care. Thanks.

You gotta go some to match Mamma Cass' rendition, but this lady comes darned close.
