Mrs. Burvall is a very dedicated History and TOK
(Theory Of Knowledge) teacher from Hawaii.
She has done both covers and remakes of many popular old songs.
The remakes (with completely rewritten lyrics) are all about interesting and educational historical events, originally made to "make school more fun" for her students.
She loves to dress up and perform in vintage clothing and big wigs, and many of the history related songs have been filmed by her colleague and creative partner Mr. Herbert Mahelona.
(He is also a teacher, with an interest in film and music,
and a member of the Kamuela Philharmonic Orchestra).
She also collaborates with other people, like Martin, or works on her own.
Merry Christmas, and thank for the regular history cameos. There is a bit of listening in this post; all your links. Will have a crack at listening on Boxing Day.
@PeteLaberge We had around -20C in the morning of Christmas Eve, but in the afternoon, it had suddenly risen to +2.3C...
And tonight (Dec. 26, 3:00 am) it is +2.5C!
What is wrong with the weather?
If this continues much longer, our snowmen may also be of sand,
up here at the Arctic Cirle... :)

This is from Martin's presentation of Amy: "On the 16th day of the Advent Project, I present my friend Amy from Hawaii. She is part of a channel which does parodies of famous songs to teach history, and today she gives you a Hawaiian version of White Christmas." And here's the current Christmas temperature in Northern Sweden (in Celsius): http://i1081.photobucket.com/albums/j347/Engztrom/DSC02749.jpg Which is not bad for Northern Sweden! (It could *easily* be 30 degrees colder this time of year...)
