I remember seeing this group singing this song as an interval act during a Christmas pantomime when I was a child, late 1960’s I think. They had a professional guy using the whip, which is probably why I remember it so well.

I'll never understand why these guys didn't do better in the States. This reached #1 in the UK, #10 in Canada, and #123 in the US. Weird.
