









The year got going with “a dream of the sea” by The Renderers. In April, PowerOfMyth found it, their eternal jam: “Invalid Litter Dept” by At the Drive In. The year’s recurring themes? noise, avant garde, and drone. PowerOfMyth posted a rare gem: “Full of Guts” by Hair Police. PowerOfMyth marked the end with “Twin Stars of Thence” by Sun Ra.

PowerOfMyth’s 2014 started strong with “Truth” by Dadub. 131 more jams followed it! Lots of Seefeel, minimal, and drone. PowerOfMyth posted a rare gem: “Inverted Ruins” by Locrian. “Starethrough” by Seefeel got a lot of love. PowerOfMyth passed 300 jams in October. 2014 drew to a close with “Cut Self Not” by Faraquet.

PowerOfMyth’s first jam of 2013 was “How Many” by How to Dress Well, and there was more to come; 158 jams in all. Lots of Cranes, shoegaze, and post-rock. They were the first, and only, to post “Pick My Brain” by Bardo Pond. “On the Hill” by House of Love got a lot of love. In February, PowerOfMyth introduced This Is My Jam to “I Wish You” by Capsule. In June, PowerOfMyth posted their 100th jam.

In July, PowerOfMyth joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Make Me” by Fang Island. Nice. It was a year of minimal, electronic, and post-rock. PowerOfMyth posted their 20th jam in September! “Nothing To Be Done” by The Pastels closed out the year.
