@robbfritz I think this might have been the first single. I remember buying the 7inch from an electrical shop during a lunchtime sojourn into town while at Sixth Form. The guy that ran the shop used to go into Middlesbrough every Saturday and buy all the new releases and then Monday lunchtime we'd all pile into his little shop (and I mean little) to rifle through the two wooden boxes he kept on the counter... dinner money gone for the week!
@KHL_webcontent very cool. curious what that equivalent is in American grades. for me I was kind of reliant on my brothers' leftover Elton John, Pink Floyd, Simon and Garfunkel and Cat Stephens, etc. which was great but finally when I was 15 I discovered Prince, the Talking Heads and New Wave and my brain kind of woke up to a different thing entirely.
