@hughesrt We'll agree to disagree on their (rather lucrative for them) dance phase - I didn't like it at all! See also Primal Scream, The Soup Dragons, etc... This was a great single though, we'll agree on that :-) I was more in to the American noise bands and MBV in the late 80s and early 90s, so I thought the indie dance / rave craze was a bit meh.
Agree about the Soupies, no idea what they were doing - 'Whole Wide World' was a cracking single. Even MBV experimented with dance music at the time; Wetherall's 'Soon ' remix is particularly good

Remember them playing as an unsigned band on Peelie. Loved this single (and the session). Liked their electronic stuff too mind you.
