2015

RogueOwlet’s first jam of 2015 was “Wasting My Young Years” by London Grammar. In June, RogueOwlet found it, their eternal jam: “The CN Tower Belongs To The Dead” by Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett). There was a lot of electronic, indie pop, and pop. RogueOwlet found a rare one: “Danger Beach” by Apache. “My Baby Just Cares For Me” by Nina Simone got a lot of love. RogueOwlet’s final jam was none other than “Pizza Guy” by Touch Sensitive.

2014

RogueOwlet’s first jam of 2014 was “XO” by Beyoncé, and there was more to come; 40 jams in all. There was a lot of indie pop, electronic, and dance. They were the first, and only, to post “Science & Vision” by CHVRCHES. People really liked “Past the Mission” by Tori Amos. “Tropical Chancer” by La Roux closed out the year.

2013

RogueOwlet’s first jam of 2013 was “Speak In Rounds” by Grizzly Bear, and there was more to come; 24 jams in all. Plenty of Lulu James, electronica, and synthpop. People really liked “Dance Yrself Clean” by LCD Soundsystem. RogueOwlet posted their 100th jam in June! 2013 drew to a close with “'Be Safe' (Produced by Hostage & Kidnap Kid)” by Lulu James.

2012

In February, RogueOwlet joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Little Bit” by Lykke Li. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? Crystal Castles, dance, and electronica. RogueOwlet posted a rare gem: “Boyz (DiscoTech & Strangelove Remix)” by M.I.A.. People really liked “I Don't Know (Adam Yauch)” by The Beastie Boys. RogueOwlet was first to pick “Sloop John B” by The Beach Boys, in February — 74 others followed suit! RogueOwlet passed 75 jams in October. “Hard Times” by Patrick Wolf closed out the year.
