That Herbie Hancock organ phase, starting just after 16 mins in, kills me every time. Although In A Silent Way is my favorite Miles album, this ranks right up there, probably at number 2. And think of all the jazz purists who bitched about Teo patching together pieces here (and in Bitches Brew, like the great repeated loop phases at the begining of Pharoahs's Dance--Teo was sampling way ahead of it's time!)
