@Avante in addition to your strange little yellow plant trivia many do not realize that bananas come from a plant and not a tree...they are plants that grow big and look like trees...once the fruit is harvested that part of the plant dies so it was a pain to dispose of the sticky trunk after cutting it up...the root then spreads and grows another as fast as a weed...that's kind of how the whole heliconia family grows
@Avante .I don't remember if harvesting the flowers of their other family of plants kills those plants off or not...thinking about it now I wonder if the banana is also a flower
