I remember entering a competition to meet them where you could ask them any question you liked - obviously mine wasn't original enough and I didn't win! I have a feeling asking them where they got their name from... Clearly I wasn't a fan of Tintin...
I was sitting in a bar in Dallas, Stevie Nicks club, The Stark Club, and was quite a bit into a deluge of liquor, when i realized I was drinking with two thirds of the Thompson Twins...it was after the group had become a trio...the two males...and, yeah, they had a time with me that I didn't recognize them until we were WAY into drinking! Great jam!
@shiningsun2k I would have never guessed Tin Tin as well - inspiration comes from weird places sometimes..I have been meaning to check out the movie...
@capnhollis Don't feel bad - I am guessing many of us wouldn't recognize some of the celebs without the makeup/fancy duds and all that - And the drinks must have been REAL good also! Sounds like you had a blast! great story!
