From the last truly great (imo) Bowie album.
@Bukowski That is interesting. Let's Dance might count as half of a great album though, yes? But I tend to agree that none that I've heard from the period post 1981ish are like Hunky Dory or The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust i.e. true complete albums.
My absolute favourite Bowie track!
A fave of mine!
@ShortCurator what is your favorite cover version? I really like Sneaker Pimps and Warpaints. Scary Monsters is my absolute favorite Bowie album, with Fashion on constant replay, Ashes to Ashes a close second
@christineb There was a version by Zorg that is a very mellow interpretation. I like that the Zorg version employs both male and female vox. The Vitamin String Quartet/Grant Lee Phillips version works for me, too. Both Warpaint and Sneaker Pimps did a great job - they kept true to the big synth of the original. I especially like the Warpaint one.
@vihreakuolema88 @Cabmerlot I love sharing true faves with people. One magic of TIMJ.
@florencevibert Thanks for saying so!
