Gregg Allman is in great voice. An old Rebel Yell recently resurrected ~ "Midnight Rider" featuring Vince Gill, Gregg Allman, and Zac Brown from "All My Friends ~ Celebrating The Songs And Voice of Gregg Allman" Blu-Ray/DVD/CD available 5/6/14 from Rounder Records ... Song from my youth. Fried my brain on this stuff. Still good.
I'd never heard this version before now , although it may have been the original.
