The elderly frailty evident in his face (however distorted in the promo) packs a real emotional punch I just wasn't expecting. I love the lack of vanity about it, too. His studio during the 'trilogy' years was right next to the bombed-out Potsdamer Platz, if I'm right, and this seems almost unbearably poignant. Funnily enough, when I first heard the track this morning I initially dismissed it; but together with the video it became more than the sum of its parts. You clever old thing, Mr B.
