Quite a different interpretation than P,P & M's, by an artist whose ultimate success was to be restricted by something called "Amazing Grace". It did for her what Neil Young saw that "Heart of Gold" was going to do for him - propulsion into a narrow alleyway called mainstream popularity. Certainly, my generation in my country were unperceptive to much else that Judy did, barring the obsessive fans of course.
Paul Weller also does a great cover of this and of course the Lightfoot original kills
although it belongs in @leejohnson decade @juepucta the Elvis version is also rather touching as it's one of this last recordings http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xBnivXp0fA
