









The_Z_Factor’s first jam of 2015 was “Verbena Tea” by Teebs, and 23 more jams followed. The year’s recurring themes? electronic, house, and techno. The_Z_Factor found a rare one: “Vermillion” by Damian Lazarus & the Ancient Moons. “Good Name” by William Onyeabor got a lot of love. In March, The_Z_Factor posted their 100th jam. All things must end; The_Z_Factor closed it out with “Acamar” by Frankey & Sandrino.

The_Z_Factor’s first jam of 2014 was “August” by Luke Howard, and there was more to come; 38 jams in all. There was a lot of Technimatic, piano, and ambient. The_Z_Factor found a rare one: “Balearic Warriors” by Mushrooms Project. People really liked “Debaser” by Pixies. In July, The_Z_Factor posted their 75th jam. 2014 drew to a close with “Nile” by Douglas Dare.

In January, The_Z_Factor joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Just Can't Sleep (Mighty Mouse Remix)” by The Aikiu. Nice. In January, The_Z_Factor found it, their eternal jam: “Inspector Norse” by Todd Terje. It was a year of drum and bass, electronic, and house. The_Z_Factor posted a rare gem: “Clay: a literary playlist” by Melissa Harrison. People really liked “Retrograde” by James Blake. The_Z_Factor reached 50 jams in November. The_Z_Factor’s 2013 came to a close with “Rinse Pies” by Technicolour.
