You're right just another marketing ploy so they can sell you otherwise disparate tracks on a compilation. Obviously the important thing about driving music is that it makes other peoples windows vibrate.

Instrumental music used to be so much more popular back then. These days it's pretty niche. But there's something to be said for a good long groove.
