@Sylvestrian Gosh! It's not often I jam something you aren't familiar with! Glad you like it. They were members of 10cc and then they left and started making records themselves. Directed tons of pop videos in the 1980s, Herbie Hancock's Rockit also the videos for the Police singles from Synchronicity and some Duran Duran promos.
Ah, now I understand the significance of the 10cc on the video. I always liked 10cc but didn't follow them closely enough to know the names of the band members. Since I didn't watch music videos in the '80s, I wouldn't have seen their work. My loss.

I don't know Godley and Creme or this song but this is a most appealing jam.

Great choice - I wonder when I last heard it, I certainly didn't recognise the Motown style back then - but the song holds up well.

I used to work opposite 10cc's Strawberry Studios, Stockport, UK, and met them in the local boozer a few times. Good times. Great music and producers.

@duncan_idaho @andypritchard Thanks. Glad you like the song.

@thompsonsimon Yes, it stands test the test of time. I like their other hits as a duo too but I think this is probably my favourite.

@kompani101 I like to hear tales like this!
