Here's something some of you may not know: Stevie Wonder wrote this with Jeff Beck, who released his own version with his band "Beck, Bogert & Appice." Motown beat the Epic record label to the punch in the record stores, so people thought Beck's version was a sad copy of Wonder's, when they were both working on the song at the same time and just kinda went in different directions with it. Wonder's version is fondly remembered while Beck's is largely forgotten. Timing is everything.
