@hussamkwai I lived there 95-96. I did my teacher training at Christcurch, lived opposite The Penny in Northgate. My Mum lives there now so I still visit. Great place for music loving people!

@lynn200 Oooo Whistable is lovely. My Great Grandparents lived there and My Nanna took us there as kids long after they had gone. I don't know how long it is since you have been there but it is becoming very arty and trendy as is Margate funnily enough :)
I worked at The Wincheap Youth Center in the late eighties & early nineties. I also played in one or two bands in the area - a high point being a gig at the now tragically defunct (I believe) Labour Club under the railway bridge in Whitstable!
@hussamkwai I loved living in Canterbury and I am sure the Labour Club is no more. Are you still in Kent? I have migrated to East Sussex but taught in Kent for 7 years near Tenterden :)
