In our house it was a family ritual to watch Carl and we saw the entire series. @AlicejustMay He was a rather decent clver chap. I would certainly invite him to my 'Fantasy Dinner Party. Others would be Billy Connolly, Stephen Fry, Albert Einstein, Picasso, James Joyce, Dame Edith Sitwell, Judi Dench, Thom Yorke, John Lennon, Karl Marx and Rosa Luxembourg; and that's just for starters. I might need a 'lower table' and some more Sara Lee cakes.
@Bukowski Ah – the classic ‘who would you invite, dead or living, to a dinner party?’ question. By the sound of it, you’d be better off with a full-on party and some paper plates of crisps and sausage rolls. :)
