First rack I ever heard by Placebo. Remember buying the 7" single (blue vinyl?) from HMV for 99p and on getting home being startled by what a good purchase I had just made.

@alisonsghost There's still a lot of "missionary work" to be done concerning Placebo. I personally think they're one of the most important bands of the last fifteen years but their influence progresses slowly, too slowly. I'm happy however that TIMJ for one gives me the possibility to champion this cause and I'm only too glad that you and Abigail are with me in bringing Molko c.s. to the forefront. Keep up the good work ladies! (I'm really looking forward to seeing them live on 8 December!)
@dutchbeeblebrox I do have sympathy for the people who didn't listen because the number of people they follow or are followed by is so large compared to mine! It takes me long enough to listen to everything. I don't see myself as a Placebo missionary, but I think their good stuff is underrated. I've been a bit unsure about the last two albums. You're very lucky to be seeing them in December! I wish I was :)
