@birds_in_trees Just seen your earlier post, missed it whilst changing jam. Yes I was at that ball and what terrible choices they had for music. I did have a great 1960s dress on though with vintage knee high boots! Ah those were the days! p.s good choice not to subject the rest to such a jam ;)
Blissed out trippy brilliance. I saw them on this tour. They were all so little! Years before my friend Ed met Ride on the Liverpool ferry, wearing matching flowery t-shirts. He regarded them for a bit and then said: 'You lot look like you should be in a band.' They patiently explained to him that they already were.
@UncannyUK Were you at the Brixton Academy gig in '92? That was my favourite. Great story and thanks for joining me on my nostalgia trip. It really was my favourite time for music :)
Oh Mr Gardener indeed! I used to kiss my poster of him every night before going to sleep for er, quite a while. The first band that I got really obsessed with. But not the last!

I saw them tour this album, i seem to remember Verve supporting them.

@jaxxon Yep before they were 'The Verve'. I seem to remember Richard Ashcroft in a purple velvet suit. They were really good!
