abscond’s year started strong with “Year of the Monkey” by Duran Duran Duran, and there was more to come; 20 jams in all. Plenty of indie pop, british, and folk. They were the first, and only, to post “Heels On” by Lady Saw. People really liked “I Can't Write Left Handed” by Bill Withers. In June, abscond introduced This Is My Jam to “Come Over feat. Stylo G” by Clean Bandit. abscond passed 50 jams in June. 2014 drew to a close with “Eyes Shut” by Years & Years.

“MIC Tribute” by God's Gift kicked off abscond’s 2012, and there was more to come; 23 jams in all. It was a year of idm, singer-songwriters, and folk. People really liked “Look At Where We Are (Major Lazer Remix)” by Hot Chip. abscond was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Secret” by Chris Clark — before 47 others! In June, abscond posted their 20th jam. abscond’s 2012 came to a close with “Hopscotch” by CocoRosie.

In October, abscond joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “If There Is Something” by Roxy Music. Nice. “Parchman Farm” by Mose Allison got a lot of love. abscond’s 2011 came to a close with “Holly” by Sleigh Bells.
