One of the first bands I saw live ( Albert Hall '71)

@Sid_Bonkers Unfortunately, Al Wilson ( "On the road again" & "Going up the country" singer , plus brilliant slide guitar & harp player ) died months before this particular gig....gutted!

@debutch a huge shame as they were never the same after that, after listening to this the first time round I dug out this peice on Classic Rock by Max Bell you might find it interesting: https://classicrock.teamrock.com/features/2014-12-20/the-twisted-tale-of-blind-owl-and-the-bear He describes Bob ‘The Bear’ Hite as 300lbs of Californian gregariousness and pharmaceutical fearlessness... :) a must read...
