In January, al3x joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Wesendonck Lieder: No.5, Träume” by Kirsten Flagstad. Nice. It was a year of post-punk, ambient, and shoegaze. al3x posted a rare gem: “Withered Efflorescence” by Bereft. “Collider” by Jon Hopkins got a lot of love. al3x was first to pick “Vertigo” by Deafheaven, in June — 18 others followed suit! al3x posted their 20th jam in April! 2013 drew to a close with “Shower Time” by Whores.
