Alan, hopefully TIMJ is a broad enough church that there's room for all genres. Spirituals/gospel music is steeped in the history of slavery, the underground railroad and the tough road to emancipation and equality. FWIW, for me, very moving. Sorry about the sermon :)
@SueSkinner thank you, i understand. Actually i am not against any genre as long as the jams are good, clearly i like and learn everyday here at TIMJ it is just that in my opinion what makes the experience great is how eclectic it can be and themes make it a radio station on a single genre and for me that misses the whole point, therefore my protest. @SueSkinner It would be a great feature for TIMJ to develop, if we can choose to be on a specific theme window that would be another story. I guess i like staying out of a hashtagged world... but count me in for that one! hahah.. NOT!!! :)
