@MsSue_ Thank you. I'm not sure how many psychedelic influenced bands there were in the early 80's. I've just dragged the Small Faces out of the vaults on Spotify thanks to your jam btw. Really loved that.
@simonp, I think I just played it and liked it! At least if it's the one with the book mention. Their 2nd album verges on the twee, but love the first one. Really frustrated there weren't more tracks on youtube.
@alisonsghost btw, just noticed your eternal jam. The Clientele have got to be one of the most criminally under-heard bands going at the moment. I just love them.
@simonp Loads of great bands on Creation, like The Jesus and Mary Chain. As for The Clientele, it's puzzling. Although I did wonder if it had anything to do with never playing North of London or South of Brighton :) Personally, I'm a hopeless junkie and listen to them most days.

In the Afternoon was one of my favourite indie tracks of the 80s. Used to play it over and over again. Just Jammed something very indie myself.
