@simonp In 1993 :) But NME singles of the week early on in a career tend to mean you're dust and ashes to them one release down the track, as with Kitchens Of Distinction, for instance. Then again, he's a boy and the line 'aaah, poor me' might be construed as whiney. I'm pretty sure it's ironic though.
