alsothings’s 2014 started strong with “The Message (TBGREMIX)” by Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, and there was more to come; 28 jams in all. Lots of hip hop, electronic, and dubstep. People really liked “ギミチョコ!!” by BABYMETAL. alsothings was first to pick “Black Metal” by The Soft Pink Truth, in May — 12 others followed suit! 2014 drew to a close with “What Is Love” by Kiesza.

alsothings’s year started strong with “When Dinosaurs Rule the Earth” by Otto von Schirach, and 36 more jams followed. The year’s recurring themes? Major Lazer, breakcore, and electronica. They were the first, and only, to post “Pipes” by Swede Mason. “A Message To You Rudy” by The Specials got a lot of love. 2013 drew to a close with “Frosty Bounce (feat. Angger Dimas & Nicky Da B)” by Diplo.

“Második Galamb” by Venetian Snares kicked off alsothings’s 2012, and there was more to come; 96 jams in all. It was a year of Dead Kennedys, hardcore, and 80s. They were the first, and only, to post “Sexy And I Know It (Brett Domino Trio Cover)” by LMFAO. “Manah Manah” by The Muppets got a lot of love. alsothings reached 100 jams in September. 2012 drew to a close with “Last Christmas Gangnam Style” by Wham Vs PSY.

In September, alsothings joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Tryptamine Extraction (Hardoff's Remix)” by DJ Donna Summer. Nice. Plenty of electronic, dubstep, and ambient. alsothings did some crate-digging too, and found “Careless Whisper - Yacht Bounce Remix” by George Michael. “Debra” by Beck got a lot of love. alsothings was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Cities in Dust” by Siouxsie and the Banshees — before 83 others! alsothings crossed 20 jams in December!
