“Record Collector” by Lissie kicked off bateleur’s 2014, and the jams kept coming; 11 in total. The year’s recurring themes? indie pop, folk, and electronica. bateleur’s 2014 came to a close with “Mr Noah” by Panda Bear.

bateleur’s first jam of 2013 was “The Piano Has Been Drinking” by Tom Waits, and 38 more jams followed. The year’s recurring themes? folk, blues, and pop. bateleur did some crate-digging too, and found “Metaverse Makeovers” by Katharine Neil. “Summer Fades” by Smoke Fairies got a lot of love. bateleur passed 100 jams in April. “Now Understand This” by Boomkat closed out the year.

The year got going with “This Will Be Our Year” by Nerina Pallot. 74 more jams followed it! There was a lot of indie pop, singer-songwriters, and indie rock. bateleur did some crate-digging too, and found “Mama Economy” by Tay Zonday. People really liked “Heart Of Glass” by Puppini Sisters. bateleur was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Justified and Ancient” by The KLF & Tammy Wynette — before 36 others! In September, bateleur posted their 75th jam. 2012 drew to a close with “Heavy Mood” by Tilly and the Wall.

In December, bateleur joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “The Good Ones” by The Kills. Nice. Plenty of garage rock, acoustic, and electronic. They were the first, and only, to post “Smells Like Rockin' Robin” by Go Home Productions. bateleur was first to pick “Everybody Hurts” by R.E.M., in December — 40 others followed suit! 2011 drew to a close with “Blue Blood Blues” by The Dead Weather.
