





The year got going with “The Stars Keep On Calling My Name” by Mac DeMarco, and there was more to come; 4 jams in all. People really liked “Doing the Unstuck” by The Cure. boladecristal marked the end with “Age Of Consent (live 1984)” by New Order.

boladecristal’s year started strong with “Lord knows best. (feat. Francoise Hardy)” by Dirty Beaches. 31 more jams followed it! Lots of dreampop, lo-fi, and shoegaze. They were the first, and only, to post “Confidente De Secundaria” by Los Teen Tops. “Superstar (The Carpenters cover)” by Sonic Youth got a lot of love. In May, boladecristal posted their 100th jam.

boladecristal’s first jam of 2013 was “Little Bit” by Lykke Li. boladecristal found their eternal jam in May — “Baby, I Love You” by The Ramones. It was a year of Wild Nothing, indie pop, and dreampop. boladecristal did some crate-digging too, and found “Linda niña” by Las ardillas. People really liked “Paradise” by Wild Nothing. boladecristal crossed 75 jams in October! boladecristal’s 2013 came to a close with “I'm Gonna Try” by Shimmering Stars.

In February, boladecristal joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Kimbra)” by Gotye. Nice. Lots of Lana Del Rey, pop, and new wave. boladecristal was first to pick “Always Where I Need to Be” by The Kooks, in May — 13 others followed suit! In July, boladecristal posted their 20th jam. “SpongeBob & Patrick Confront The Psychic Wall Of Energy” by The Flaming Lips closed out the year.
