In January, bookscout joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Sun God” by Squirrel Bait. Nice. There was a lot of indie rock, rap, and electronic. They were the first, and only, to post “Magdalene” by Alice Donut. People really liked “Lips Like Sugar” by Echo & the Bunnymen. bookscout was first to pick “Pistolero” by Juno Reactor, in March — 10 others followed suit! 2012 drew to a close with “freebird” by Built to Spill.
