The year’s recurring themes? folk, singer-songwriters, and classic rock. bootleian posted a rare gem: “Taste Like Chicken” by Tony Joe White. People really liked “Sunny Afternoon” by The Kinks. bootleian’s final jam was “Frontier Psychiatrist” by The Avalanches.

The year got going with “Something In Red” by Lorrie Morgan, and there was more to come; 54 jams in all. Lots of pop, folk, and new wave. People really liked “Once in a Lifetime” by Talking Heads. In June, bootleian posted their 100th jam. bootleian’s 2014 came to a close with “Losing My Religion” by R.E.M..

2013

bootleian’s year started strong with “El Cuarto De Tula (Ibrahim Ferrer)” by Buena Vista Social Club. In August, bootleian found it, their eternal jam: “From a distance” by Raul Malo, Nancy Griffith and Donna Summer. Lots of Lindisfarne, classic rock, and blues. bootleian found a rare one: “The Intro And The Outro (2007 Digital Remaster)” by The Bonzo Dog Band. People really liked “Leopard Skin Pill-Box Hat” by Bob Dylan. bootleian reached 50 jams in August. bootleian’s 2013 came to a close with “I Hope You Dance” by Lee Ann Womack.

In September, bootleian joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Cut Throats Crooks and Con-men” by Show of Hands. Nice. The year’s recurring themes? Show of Hands, British folk, and acoustic. “Ni chicha ni limoná.” by Víctor Jara closed out the year.
