For those of us of a certain age - this is still one of THE great albums. Shame Lindsey has never really got due appreciation for his guitar playing and Stevie was a goddess!! :-)
Oh dear what have I started?
@mikelowe I agree with you but I think it has everything to do with Peter Green being such a legend t, that his fans never really took to Mac Mkll, although Rumour's gained them a whole new audience outside of the blues.
@Sid_Bonkers Agree about Mac - musically two different bands. I was lucky enough to have enjoyed them both (because of me age!...LoL) I've still got the first PG's F Mac vinyl album tucked away somewhere (and vinyl Rumours!!!)
Tenuous claim to fame coming up - I did actually book PG's F Mac for £700-750 back in '69 for:- http://www.ukrockfestivals.com/buxton.html see the Buxton "Prog Blues" Festival. What a night!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course I was VERY young at the time ;-)
@boozybluesy who got the vinyl?
@mikelowe I agree with you about Mac v.2.0.0 I must have played Rumours almost to breaking point but its strange that I havent listened to it in 20 odd years but I still listen to PG's Mac, so I guess for me the blues has a timeless quality.
Its still good to hear it again Irene :)

@mikelowe @Sid_Bonkers Used to have Rumours on vinyl before divorce! He divorced me as he couldn't take the Chinese burns!

I've seen a few F Mac videos over the years, but don't recall seeing this performance. Thanks for putting it up.
