calimakizushi’s first jam of 2015 was “Ceilings” by Local Natives, and there was more to come; 8 jams in all. “The Predatory Wasp of the Palisades Is Out to Get Us!” by Sufjan Stevens got a lot of love. calimakizushi’s final jam was none other than “Apollo” by Last Dinosaurs.

2014

The year got going with “The North (Breakglass Version)” by Stars. In March, calimakizushi found it, their eternal jam: “Into You” by The Cinematic Orchestra. There was a lot of indie rock, electronic, and british. calimakizushi passed 75 jams in November. 2014 drew to a close with “You & I” by Local Natives.

2013

“Giving Me A Chance” by Gotye kicked off calimakizushi’s 2013. 28 more jams followed it! Lots of electronic, indie rock, and indie pop. calimakizushi did some crate-digging too, and found “Mighty Hands” by Mighty Hands. “Lights Out, Words Gone” by Bombay Bicycle Club got a lot of love. In June, calimakizushi posted their 50th jam. calimakizushi’s 2013 came to a close with “Heart In The Pipes (Kauf Remix)” by Tony Castles.

2012

In March, calimakizushi joined This Is My Jam, and kicked things off with “Tighten Up” by The Black Keys. Nice. It was a year of Foster the People, Australian music, and Canadian music. They were the first, and only, to post “Hand Me Downs” by The Morning Benders. People really liked “Something Good Can Work” by Two Door Cinema Club. calimakizushi was the first person on This Is My Jam to post “Lake Michigan” by Rogue Wave — before 39 others! calimakizushi crossed 20 jams in September!
