The cymbal at 2'19m in... you can't tell me you don't like to mime to that bit.

Oh my, how I love this song. Must remember to somewhere stick in my annual all time favourite top 1000 (2015 edition scheduled for October)

I was only familiar with Robert Knight & Carl Carlton's version. I heard Carl's first it was played so much in the 70's & a friend said it was a cover of Robert's mid 60's recording. This is great too. Just never heard it till now. :-)

@marissapicone Are you from the US? I've noticed recently that a lot of songs I thought were the standard version (this was No.1 in the UK, did nothing over there) depend on the side of the Atlantic. As another example, I see that The Left Banke's "Walk Away Renee" was the hit in the States, the Four Tops cover just a minor one. Over here the Four Tops got top three with it, and I'd never heard of The Left Banke until this year.

@richcallaghan @marissapicone It's a great pop song. I never knew there were other versions. (Like you Rich I never jeard the Left Banke version of "Renee" until someone jammed it here.)

The Love Affair's later single "Day Without Love" is in my opinion the equal to this. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNDh6Uu2DGc

@richcallaghan Are you on Let's Loop? I've "looped" it over there. Can't jam it - not available (old story).

@obadiah99 it might have been me you saw jamming Left Banke... Came across it by accident. I'm on Let's Loop but I'm still getting used to it. Richcallaghan I think.
