Brilliant, Chrissy. Big Scritti-ist back in the day. In fact was on the cusp of Jammin' one t'other week. Read an article on Green, as I wondered what had happened to the fella. Pretty much turned his back on music and gone hyper-reclusive. Sad and a bit of a shame, I reckon. Anyhoo, this is sweet, as is your wee story and now I've also discovered your hubs is a Floydian...well, where's the adoption papers... ;-)
@21schizoid Oh he has popped up here and there over the last few years. The last Scritti album was in 2005 but there were two new tracks on the 2011 best of. Plus he has contributed on albums by Kylie, the Manics, and Tracey Thorn. The 90's were really when he disappeared.
@Astromonkey oh, you're so adorable..yes, I was a child bride and mother!! (that or my families genetics..we all look about 10-15 years younger than our age..)
