@debutch He actually was much younger...he died in 1993. As with so many gifted people, depression, drugs and alcohol and possibly a girlfriend (think Courtney Love) played a part....the comparisons between Kurt Cobain and Elliott are chilling.
@Sid_Bonkers You're are welcome. His album posthumous "An Introduction to Elliott Smith" is wonderful...it gives you a overview of all of his albums. Worth checking out ~
